About the Journal

International Journal of Cultural and Social Science (IJCSS) is an international journal covering various fields within the social sciences, including culture, sociology, communication, politics, and information literacy. All articles submitted to the journal must be written in English.

Authorship and Plagiarism

Authorship of articles should be limited to those who have contributed sufficiently to take public responsibility for the content. Such contributions include: (a) conception and design, analysis and interpretation of data, or both; (b) drafting the article or revising it critically for important intellectual content; (c) final approval of the version to be published; and (d) agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work by ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Submission to IJCSS is interpreted to mean that all listed authors have agreed to all contents of the article. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that such agreement has been obtained and for managing all communication between the journal and co-authors before and after publication.

Any request for changes to the author list after submission, including changes in author order or the addition or removal of authors, must be accompanied by a letter signed by all original authors. The letter must be scanned and sent by email to ijcss@pcijournal.org by the corresponding author. The editors of IJCSS assume that, in multi-group collaborations, one member of each collaboration, usually the most senior member of each submitting group, has accepted responsibility for the contributions from their respective team.

Responsibilities of the Corresponding Author

1. The article is an original work and does not involve fraud, fabrication, or plagiarism.
2. The article has not been published previously and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. If accepted by IJCSS, it will not be submitted to another journal.
3. The article contains no defamatory or unlawful statements and does not include material that infringes individual privacy, proprietary rights, or statutory copyright.
4. Written permission has been obtained from copyright holders for any excerpted material, and all such sources have been properly acknowledged.
5. All authors have made significant contributions to the study, including the conception and design of the article, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.
6. All authors have reviewed the manuscript, take responsibility for its content, and approve its publication.
7. All authors are aware of and agree to the terms of this publishing agreement.

Every article submitted to IJCSS is screened using iThenticate software to detect textual similarity and to ensure academic integrity.

Copyright

The journal and the respective authors hold the exclusive copyright to all materials published in IJCSS. Any reproduction of material from the journal without proper acknowledgment or prior permission constitutes an infringement of intellectual property laws. Written acceptance of the Journal Publishing Agreement (JPA) is required before an article can be published.

Complaints

Authors who have concerns regarding any aspect of their interaction with IJCSS may contact the Editor-in-Chief via email at ijcss@pcijournal.org. Every effort will be made to acknowledge the complaint within seven days of receipt. When necessary, the Editor-in-Chief will consult with other editors and communicate directly with the complainant to explain the steps taken to resolve the matter.
